Teen 16–17No-Gi Division

The Teen 16–17 No-Gi division bridges the gap between junior and adult competition. Athletes in this bracket will face a more complete ruleset — including expanded submission options — while competing in a safe, structured environment that prepares them for adult-level competition.

• ▸Competitors must be 16 or 17 years old as of the date of competition.
• ▸A parent or guardian must be present at the venue and sign all required waivers.
• ▸Competitors may move up to the Adult division at their own request, but not down to the Kids division.
• ▸Weigh-in is the morning of the event. A 1 lb allowance is given.
• ▸In the event of a tie, match outcome is determined by: submission count → advantages → penalties → referee decision.
